Greenwood Suddenly Shortest Stack
In the last hand of the previous level, Sam Greenwood raised to 30,000 from under the gun and Ka Kwan Lau called in the big blind. Lau check-called a bet worth 30,000 on the flop and then bet the turn for 90,000. Greenwood reluctantly called for almost half of his stack and the fell on the river.
Lau and Greenwood both checked and the Spaniard rolled over for a straight, Greenwood mucked.
The first hand of the new level saw Daniel Geeng limp in and Lau filled up from the small blind, Greenwood checked in the big blind. The flop came and there was no betting action. Greenwood bet the Kc] turn for 16,000 and Geeng called, Lau moved out of the way.
After the river, Greenwood checked and Geeng bet 30,000. Greenwood, clearly frustrated, rolled his eyes and then stared over at his opponent, shaking his head several times. The Canadian ultimately folded and was suddenly the shortest stack.
