Alors que les 5 derniers joueurs en lice ont été chipleader lors de l'ultime journée de compétition, c'est finalement l'Américain Kenneth Smaron qui encaisse 293 860$ et le trophée.

Le Canadien Anthony Diotte n'a tenu que trois mains avant de quitter la partie et n'a même pas rêvé d'un comeback. Diotte s'incline sur un flip contre Robin Luca Wozniczek. Ce dernier n'a pas tardé à s'emparer de la tête du tournoi à 5 left mais les tapis se sont équilibrés et l'Allemand termine finalement 5e pour 65 520$.
Robin Luca Wozniczek rend les armes avec une paire et un tirage couleur, payé par Jonathan Abdellatif qui dévoile un tirage flush inférieur et une ventrale qui se pointe rivière. Assurés de remporter un gain à 6 chiffres, les 4 survivants du tournoi vont tour à tour se porter en tête.

Chipleader en début de finale, Denis Timofeev a perdu beaucoup de pots alors que le Canadien Harpreet Gill doublait opportunément. Le Russe sort finalement du tournoi à l'issue d'un flip perdu contre le futur vainqueur. Kenneth Smaron en profite pour débuter le head's up avec une légère avance.
L'ultime duel ne va durer que 9 mains puisqu'Harpreet Gill limp-shove pour se faire attraper par le de Smaron qui remporte le tournoi un tableau de briques plus tard !

Without much hesitation, Gill moved in for 2,615,000. Smaron asked for a count and contemplated what to do for a bit before he decided to go for it and call.
The pot was 5,250,000 and Smaron was the slight favorite but Gill was very much live. The flop came , giving Smaron a royal flush draw while Gill picked up a gutshot but lost the tens as outs.
The on the river was inconsequential and so was the on the river. and just like that, after just 20 minutes or so of heads up play, a champion was crowned. Harpreet Gill had to settle for second place, banking $217,860.
