52 joueurs se sont pr��sent��s sur ce tournoi des ballas et 12 ont m��me profit�� de l'option re-entry pour porter l'affluence de ce tournoi �� 64 entr��es, g��n��rant un prizepool de 3,1 millions d'euros. Apr��s 14 heures de jeu, la bulle de Mustapha Kanit, et une finale o�� l'on retrouvait Steve O'Dwyer, Fedor Holz, Mike Watson, Nick Petrangelo ou encore Erik Seidel, c'est le jeune prodige espagnol Adrian Mataeos Diaz qui a triomph�� pour un gain de 908 00�. Une somme qui permet au premier ib��rique vainqueur d'un EPT de franchir la barre des 8 millions de gains cumul��s en live.

La plupart des grands noms du poker ont beau avoir particip�� �� l'��v��nement, c'est le Fran?ais Jean-No?l Thorel qui a anim�� le d��but de partie. Le Fran?ais s'est r��gal�� sur des niveaux de 30 minutes en faisant bouger les masses avant de se faire pi��ger par les champions.
Premi��re victime du jour, Petrangelo a bien fait de re-entry, il termine 5e pour un gain net de 148 400�. Apr��s avoir transform�� un satellite �� 10.200� en un gain de 832.800� sur le tournoi �� 100.000� remport�� par Bryn Kenney, Daniel Dvoress a eu besoin de 3 bullets pour un total de 150.000�. Le Canadien a bien fait d'insister puisqu'il s'incline en head's up contre Mateos Diaz pour un gain net de 502.000� !
Daniel Negreanu, Isaac Haxton, John Juanda ou encore Charlie Carrel n'ont pas r��ussi �� se hisser jusqu'�� l'ultime table du tournoi. David Peters non plus mais il a au moins eu le plaisir de check-call trois streets contre Fedor Holz avec hauteur 
... et de d��couvrir le bluff de son adversaire.
Mal en point apr��s cet essai, Holz va s'accrocher pour atteindre les places pay��es de cet ��v��nement pour la troisi��me fois en 3 ans (4e pour 319 800�). L'Allemand s'inclinera contre le futur vainqueur dans un coup o�� il ��tait favori. Daniel Dvoress kept his hopes alive with a few shoves that went through, but his stack remained around 11 big blinds only. Adrian Mateos then shoved the last hand of the level from the small blind and Dvoress eventually called in the big blind after giving it some consideration.

The Spanish rail including Diego Gomez and Ka Kwan Lau jumped closer to the table and was asking for a jack and eight in the flop. That wish was partly granted, as the flop came

turn and the river failed to improve Dvoress, and he was eliminated in 2nd place for �652,000.

flop, Dvoress check-called a bet worth 130,000 and did so again for 400,000 on the turn. The Canadian then checked the 
river and Mateos moved all in.
The first 30 seconds passed without any decision and Dvoress used one of his two remaining time bank chips, then folded with 10 seconds left.

flop and Dvoress bet the turn for 300,000. Mateos raised to 1.1M and Dvoress folded.
A limped pot then saw the 
flop go check, check, before the 
turn brought no betting action either. On the 
river, Mateos checked and Dvoress bet 150,000. Mateos called and his 
claimed the pot, as Dvoress was bluffing with .
Mateos' next raise to 250,000 claimed the big blind before Dvoress limped in and folded to a raise to 375,000 by Mateos.

Down to three players, Adrian Mateos was basically involved in every hand, most of them as initial raiser, and he got through with most of the raises except for two three-bet shoves by Daniel Dvoress. Erik Seidel was chipped down to around 1.5M and that's what he moved all in for from the small blind. Mateos peeked at his cards in the big blind and called.

Erik Seidel shoved for 620,000 to claim the blinds and antes, then shoved once more to get up to exactly one million in chips. He shoved for that amount from the button and Daniel Dvoress called in the big blind.

Fedor Holz opened for 225,000 from the button and big blind Adrian Mateos called. Mateos check-called 200,000 on before checking again on the turn. Holz bet 495,000 and action was on Mateos. He thought about it for a bit before announcing all in.
"Ahh! I knew it!" exclaimed Holz, "I could see it on your face!"
Holz had started the hand with just about 3 million in chips and was facing a big decision, especially since Seidel on his left didn't have too many chips. With 10 seconds left to act, Holz called.

Both players had a flush draw. Mateos had a gutshot on top, Holz had the pair and was in the lead.
The river came the 
gifting Mateos the straight and Holz hit the rail. After coming 4th in 2015 (�329,800) and 5th in this event last year (�271,670), now 4th again. Holz netted �319,800, the remaining 3 players are guaranteed �423,800.
