Parfois tu n'as pas le temps de douter. Défait en head's up pour un bracelet juste avant le week-end, Ryan "Im.Sorry" Torgersen s'est vengé sur le tournoi suivant pour un succès lui amenant 172 361$.
Torgersen a remporté le WSOP Online Event #10, un DeepStack à 600$ le buy-in qui a rassemblé 2 074 entrants (dont 569 re-entries) pour créer le plus gros prizepool du festival jusque là. Les joueurs dans l'argent se sont partagés 1 119 960$, la première bourse à 7 chiffres des WSOP 2020.
229 joueurs et joueuses ne sont pas repartis les mains vides après l'élimination de Katie "katelin" Lindsay à la bulle.
Vainqueur de l'Event #9 devant Torgersen, Ron ‘MacDaddy15’ MacMillen a lui aussi deep-run pour atteindre la 65e place (2,127.92). Eux aussi vainqueurs depuis l'entame du festival online, Joon "jykpoker" Kim (157e - $1,231.95), Robert Kuhn (19e – $5,487.80) et Louis ‘PokeThese’ Lynch (31e – $4,367.84) ont pu rêver un court instant d'une deuxième breloque.

Deuxième en début de finale, Nick "DuckFlush" Pupillo a perdu deux mains rapidement avec 
pour être finalement le deuxième éliminé de TF.

Le plan a 3 a basculé sur un lancer de pièce entre Sam "texasmolly" Grizzle et Torgersen... Grizzle frappant le flop pour passer devant avoir de voir son opposant toucher son brelan à la rivière! De quoi donner les deux tiers des jetons à Torgerson qui s'imposera logiquement sur un 70-30 préflop après avoir encore creusé l'écart sur Brandon "Omni27" Ienn qui se consolera avec un gain à 6 chiffres d'être passé si prêt du bracelet...

Grizzle, who was at his first WSOP Final Table in 21 years, just needed to fade a club or ten to double back into contention, but yet another cruel river was waiting in the wings, as the gave Torgerson a set and sent Grizzle out two spots shy of his first WSOP Bracelet.
