The final day of Event #33: $500 THE CLOSER marks the last chance to earn a bracelet during the 2021 GGPoker WSOP Online.
The event has drawn 7,103 entries across 16 Day 1’s – generating a prizepool of $3,373,925. Of those entries, 882 players have survived into the final day with more to come as the final Day 1 will not conclude until after the final day has already begun.
Joao “phu Del” Valli currently leads heading into the final day with 708,254 (118 big blinds) Fabrizio “S@ulG00dm@n” D’Agostino is not far behind with 695,448 in chips (116 big blinds).
Other notables with above-average stacks include Anton Wigg (76 big blinds), Jonah Silverstein (74 big blinds), Charles "TheMadQueen" La Boissonniere (68 big blinds) and Daniel Dvoress (65 big blinds).
The final day is set to begin at 8:30 p.m. GMT with starting stacks of 25,000 and blinds starting at 3,000/6,000 and a 750 ante. Levels are fifteen minutes each with a five-minute break at the top of each hour. Each table will be played eight-handed max until the final table, which will begin nine-handed.
The blind-level for the final table will be rolled back in order to ensure the average stack is at least forty big blinds.
Eight hundred players are set to make to the money with a min-cash being worth $1,151.80. A cool $360,223.46 awaits the eventual winner.
